The American Institute of CPAs has developed a core competency framework that defines a set of skills-based competencies needed by all students entering the accounting profession regardless of the career path they choose. The competencies (functional, broad business perspective and person) have been derived from academic and professional competency models supporting the concept of life-long learning. |
