UACPA's legislative efforts in Utah have helped keep federal accounting reforms from "cascading" down to the state level and defeated a proposal to add a sales tax on tax and consulting services. We continue to be your effective voice in Utah and Washington D.C. Student Recruitment — You Benefit! Accounting enrollments are up UACPA members are actively involved with Utah’s K-12 classrooms and accounting and business teachers. The UACPA works with the Beta Alpha Psi and IMA chapters on campuses throughout the state. That means a growing pool of future professionals. Image and advertising of the CPA brand — You Benefit! Our courses and seminars are of highest quality and standards – with instructor ratings at an average of 4.3 on a five point scale over the course of a year. The UACPA has just entered into an agreement with the Business Learning Institute to provide even more high qualiy and customized on-site training opportunities.
