Proud to be a CPA: Why would you go through the effort to pass the CPA exam, work for experience that would qualify you to be licensed and then maintain that license? Get a young professionals perspective in this article by Troy Lewis.

The new computer-based national CPA Exam is an exciting leap forward for the CPA profession. As students move from the education phase of the profession careers toward licensure and then into the workplace, the following resources will be of assistance:

• Education and Experience Brochure: This brochure was prepared by the UACPA to assist candidates in understanding the processes of requirements for sitting for the CPA exam and licensure.
• Education checklist: This NON-AUTHORATATIVE worksheet is design to assist candidates in determining whether their academic transcript will meet the requirements to sit for the CPA examination.
• AICPA Ethics Self Study Exam: This is the self-study exam that is the third exam necessary to obtain licensure in Utah. The exam must be submitted within one year, (from the date the UACPA purchased from AICPA) in order to be scored. Be sure to check with the UACPA Member Service Team to confirm expiration date. (If you aren't planning to take the exam right away, you may want to wait to order).
