The CPA examination is now a computer based test, replacing the previous paper and pencil examination. The Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL) oversees the CPA licensure process. DOPL is part of the Utah State Department of Commerce. You may link to the CPA statute and rules from the DOPL website. Once a candidate has been passed the Uniform CPA examination, they will be required to pass the Utah Law and Rules examination and the AICPA Ethics Self-Study Exam (required to complete the Utah licensure process) may be purchased directly from the Utah Association of CPAs. |
