Division Controller
- Manages all plant accounting operations, including billing, general ledger, inventory/cost, revenue recognition and financial planning and analysis for assigned Division.
- Responsible for coordinating an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close process to include reconciliations, working papers, operational reports for sites and related financial reporting requirements.
- Ensures proper accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Monitors and implements plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies and JSOX requirements) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks
- Ensures the timely reporting of all monthly financial information according to corporate mandated schedules
- Plans and coordinates the annual budget process and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices
- Prepares and analyzes monthly/quarterly forecasts in coordination with plant management
- Prepares ad-hoc accounting analysis as required; provides support to the VP of Finance, Division President and Corporate FP&A, Treasury, Risk Management, Taxation and A/P as required
- Collaborates with plant management and other department team members to support overall plant goals, objectives and cost reduction efforts; develops financial metrics to facilitate key performance indicators/top objectives
- Provides proactive consultation, interpretation and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions
- 8-10 years progressive experience in the accounting profession with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage systems, processes, and people in a complex organizational structure. Experience working in professional services (public accounting) is preferred.
- Previous experience as a controller or assistant controller for a large publicly held corporation (or one of its major business units) with financial statement preparation responsibilities is also a must if manager level experience with financial statement preparation has not been gained at the public accounting level.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Experience with Avante or Oracle ERP and BI reporting preferred. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous experience with Essbase financial reporting and planning tools is highly desirable.

- Undergraduate degree in Accounting required; CPA required. MBA strongly preferred.
