IRS Virtual Focus Group

The IRS Taxpayer Experience Office (TXO) is hosting a one-hour focus group to discuss a new virtual elective pay pre-filling electronic registration process for clean energy tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) or the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) and Science Act of 2022.

Participants have an opportunity to share feedback directly with the IRS about the features and functions of a notional elective pay electronic pre-filling registration process. During the focus group, an IRS moderator will share the notional elective pay pre-filling process platform design and walk participants through a series of questions.
